- Appointment marks another milestone ahead of a planned clinical feasibility study assessing safety, feasibility and pharmacokinetics

Special Report: TrivarX has enlisted pharmaceutical specialist Syntro Health to help prepare its Stabl-Im imaging technology for clinical trials starting in 2027.
Syntro Health will undertake laboratory formulation activities for the Stabl-Im investigational product, with TrivarX (ASX:TRI) targeting first patient enrolment in Q1 CY27.
Syntro Health is an Australian specialist in investigational medicinal product (IMP) manufacturing and management, providing pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, packaging, storage and distribution services for clinical trials.
The company operates Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)-licensed cGMP facilities and supports pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies undertaking Phase I through Phase IV clinical studies.
Preparations advance for clinical trials
Syntro’s appointment provides TRI with access to established pharmaceutical formulation expertise and infrastructure as it progresses the technical and operational requirements for its planned clinical trial of Stabl-Im.
The company’s planned feasibility study is designed to assess the safety, feasibility and pharmacokinetics of Stabl-Im, with results intended to inform subsequent clinical development and the potential expansion of the platform into broader applications.
Stabl-Im was acquired in November 2025 from Nucleics, the private biotech company founded by Australian healthcare entrepreneur and Racura Oncology (ASX:RAC) CEO Dr Daniel Tillett.
It is designed to provide biologically meaningful information on tumour activity, cell proliferation and treatment response using stable isotopes and existing MRI infrastructure, without the use of radioactive tracers.
TRI believes the technology has the potential to complement standard-of-care imaging and enhance assessment of tumour biology and treatment response.
Making progress towards the clinic
CEO Dr Danielle Meyrick said the engagement of Syntro Health represented another important step in advancing Stabl-Im towards clinical evaluation and built on the progress made across the company’s clinical development program in recent months.
“Ensuring a suitable formulation for clinical use is an important component of our preparations, and Syntro brings specialist pharmaceutical manufacturing expertise and established infrastructure to support this work,” she said.
“We continue to make progress across the technical, clinical and operational activities required to commence our feasibility study.
“Our focus remains on systematically completing these activities to ensure Stabl-Im is appropriately evaluated in the clinic and to establish a strong foundation for the platform’s longer-term development.”
First patient enrolment for the trial is scheduled for Q1 CY27.
